International Cconferences

The ACCU Nara Office holds international conferences where experts and administrators involved in cultural heritage protection gather from Japan and abroad to exchange opinions. Objectives of these international conferences are;

  • To promote specialised research activities related to the protection of cultural heritage,
      including world heritage.
  • To enhance public awareness of cultural heritage protection through these conferences.
  • To provide opportunities for exchanging information and opinions,
      and thereby contribute to the construction of information networks relating to cultural heritage
      protection.
