Mr NISHIMURA Yasushi, Director of ACCU Nara and the other staff visited Uzbekistan and had meeting with Dr Anna Paolini, Head of UNESCO Office in Tashkent, Prof Tursunali Kuziev, Chairman of Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Mr Farrukh Usmanov, Director of Caravanserai, Mr Ismailova Jannat Khamidovna, Director of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan and Mr Pidaev Shakirdjan, Director of Institute of Archaeology to discuss about where in the Asia-Pacific region we can implement local workshops which dispatch a group of lecturers from Japan and offer the practical training on cultural heritage protection on site in the future.
